"Not one person from the front office has even come up to congratulate me," he said. "It's all the little people like you guys. But nobody from higher up. That's a disgrace."
I am sure everyone took that as a compliment...being called "little people like you guys".

An old friend gave me a piece of advice.
If one person calls you an A$$hole, you tell him to F*ck off
If a Second Person calls you an A$$hole, you tell him to F*ck Off
If a third Person calls you an A$$hole, you look in the mirror before you tell anyone else to F*ck Off
How many teams has Shea been through?

.
He skipped a game before the break to adopt this kid...very hard to adopt kids in today's world...think owner and manager were pissed he skipped ONE game. Who knows...i'd let this play out some before judging him as none of us know the circumstances behind this.
.
One thing I can take from this is the Vernon Wells interview as he seemed a little down about it and made it seem like he was a pretty good teammate.

It seems something unacceptable took place as the GM made reference to not tolerating his behaivour to Canada and not confirming nor denying any incident. The players also seemed to have made some pact not to discuss the specifics to the media (as described by Reed Johnson this morning on local radio).
