Listen...smoking pot is illegal...yet virtually anyone can buy it...making a sports bet is illegal..yet anyone can wager....kids even buy beer when they are underage..Do you really think this multi billion dollar industry will cease because some politicians donot want 25 million players to place bets......I really doubt it ..there are some pretty sharp minds out there and where there is a will there is a way...Also this hasn't passed the Senate yet and may never....Poker games are technically illegal in your house...office pools are illegal according to state law....how far will the fed go even if a law is passed??? How many thousands of man power hours can they burn....they will spend hundreds of millions and then find some company has come up with new angles...and then 100 companies ...will they arrest all the company execs from the UK..Costa Rica....etc..The sports books are LEGAL there.....what will happen is companies will pop up as intermediary betting groups that will take the wagers and process either over the phone or internet from"legal countries"....I always thought the US should run the sportsbooks from the racetracks....same juice with reup bonuses as well....seriously...might as well keep the $$ in the US...instead of the UK and Costa Rica..license all the books..this way all the players are guaranteed to get paid as they would be required to post 25 million bond prior to licensing.....why f...around with Costa Rica and UK...Next move USA in the sportsbook biz...what the f... you think this is all about....then they legalize pot and sell it theselves..All about $$$....just like oil.....lets call a spade a spade...they are gonna have to do this because gasoline is gonna cost you $12-14 a gallon in 3 years....towel heads have got US by the balls and everyone knows it..why the f...u think we are in Iraq and all these countries.....When I see all the frickin large RV's and big cars on the road burning energy I feel it is disgraceful....NO more big cars..should be like Europe..or go back to the horse and buggy..f...it.
