British Open - Woods +210 In A Runaway

Tiger's play today was excellent course management using a driver and three wood only once each. He only needs to hit his 2 iron off most tees and is staying away from trouble. He can reach the 4 par 5's in two even using an iron off the tee and his grinding and putting are sharp. He is focused and is sitting in a great spot to stretch out tomorrow as he tees off in the morning for Round 2. Believe he opens up on this field.

with 20 players either in the lead, or within 2 strokes of it, I don't see Tiger pulling away at all. This is going to be a close one all weekend.

If the wind stays away Tiger will be very hard to beat and could easily pull away but if the wind picks up then he will find it hard given he is not the best exponent of keeping it under the wind. He certainly has a good course management plan out there and his 2 iron is behaving well so far.

Loved the way Tiger played today. He looks like the man to beat. Was in good position all day long and even the couple times he missed shots he had terrific up and downs. Like Tigers chances a lot this weekend!

Nothing to do with his melt down, the guy is too aggresive to win the Open, he will for sure win more majors. the masters the PGA and maybe even the Us open. He has all the skills and the game, but I dont think his game does not always suit the links style. To me I think he needs to learn to play the low ball and use the links to his advantage
