If you are new to what we are doing do not get down on anything until we have capped the games. A team being identified as a system game does not mean we are going to play it. The thread is open for guest to post their own games and guest handicappers are welcome.

System A produced two pricey winners today (Thursday), neither of which I played sorry to say. Of these four games none of the starting pitching match ups works for me. What say you partner? Gonna look to System B for a replacement game.

Memo to TheVoice. Good call on the D'Backs tonight. It bailed me out on that Marlins looser.

I know this sounds crazy Voice but out of system B I like the Fish, Mets, and Detroit (Under 8.5) better than I do any of the System A teams.

Hey Alamo whats up my friend!!! How is it going!!

Hey Gyne. Give us a Fade Game of The Day for Friday! You are an honorary guest baseball Anti Hadicapper. Catch up with everybody tomorrow. Gonna hit the sack. Hopefully we can have a game or two up early in the day. I am leaning heavy toward the Marlins tomorrow but waiting on TheVoice to check in. He is based in Miami so want to hear his take on that thriller. Marlins/Pirates....doesn't get any better than that does it....:puppy:

I gotta call my shot(s) at we are getting closer to game time. I like two from system B and so I'm gonna take a walk on the wild side and play two today.

Detroit/Oakland U8.5 (-118 ouch). Last time these two pitchers faced each other we had a 2-1 score. Just keep it under 8.5 please.

Marlins (-138). Going back for more punishment. Can one of the worst teams in baseball and one of the worse road teams in baseball win two in a row on the road with an inferior starting pitcher? I am betting that they won't.

I also have a strong lean toward the red hot Braves at -135 and climbing but ain't put money on it just yet.

Hello rich

Pitt is 6 & 25 vs lefties this year.

Snets

You are correct Mr. Snets. We not only have Pitt as a play against team on the road but also as a play against vs. lefties. Yesterday Pitt was on the road facing a left handed pitcher and they still won the game. I think they are facing a right handed pitcher but I am playing the Pitt on the road angle. Good luck today!

Ytd 25-14

I had written down about 3 paragraphs and went to grab a bag of chips and poof my window was gone...so im not doing all that again....simply going to pick the play:

System B Double Play (meaning two trends working our way as Alamo has already pointed out): "The Fish"(-138):103631605

System B Team: "Hotlanta" (-136) I like Smoltz in this game...he spoke out publicly about buying instead of selling and got his wish (Wickman at least its something:missingte) so I dont see how he doesnt show up extra motivated tonight.:suomi:

Small/Gut Bet:Baltimore/TB U9 (-110) I almost went with Baltimore in this one thats how much I like Bedard...yet I dont like the fact that Tampa is actually a "Double system Play" (Baltimore woes on the road and lefties) in this one...so Im going to do an experimental total bet (3rd all year).:smoking:

Alamo and company I wish you all the best of luck :toast:

Good stuff from my partner The Voice who has been MONEY since joining the firm.

I was perturbed at the Fish lose yesterday since the were leading in the game most of the way.

Thanks to Snet for pointing out Pitt is indeed going against a lefty on the road making it a double System B game. Hope you continue contributing to the thread!

I saw the Baltimore play but still hard to play on T.B. with them working on a 6 game losing streak.

We have much love for Marlins tonight.

We also love Atlanta and yours truly loves Detroit U8.5.

TheVoice has warm fuzzy feeling for non sytem play Balitmore U9

Hey Gyno!!! Your public wants the Fade play baby. It' Golden!

We have generally sucked at the few total plays we have posted. No more total plays the rest of the season for me at least.

Marlins take care of business as predicted by Snet, The Voice and your humble host.

Bullpen blows the Detroit Under in a tragic way and Atlanta continues to have problems in the pen.

I hope thread viewers jumped on the Marlins game. In the future I or my partner The Voice will hightlight the game he and I agree one. Be back early AM to get the thread focused on our Saturday action.

Memo to The Voice.

Playing the correct side on Pitt, Balitmore and Houston would have produced winners. Throw out the two total situations in System B and you see how 3 of the 5 situations produced winners. Remind me tomorrow to send you a proposed revised version of System B. We will get this thing sharpened to a razors edge.

Houston game had a pitching change last minute so we probably wouldve had it nullified but nevertheless our system B is looking very promising. Im remindnig you now so if you would like email it to me once you get a chance.

Looking at todays game Im staying away from the Florida Teams till tomorrow...Kazmir and Willis (lets see how the bookies set the juice) makes it double system B plays tomorrow...

Minnesota:staying away...theyre on the road and I cant see myself ever playing Baker at least not anytime soon.

Boston:much better home team plus a rookie pitching his first game..i'll pass

Your beloved Giants:Schmidt has bitten me twice already hasnt won since 6/6 and I thought he would end that little funk last time up and boy was i wrong.

Toronto: Wang has been to me so im staying away and im actually considering fading system A on this one (yes i know that theirs no way i could convince you on this one)

Detroit: I saw the last game Blanton pitched against them and he was crafty enough to hold Tigers to a couple of runs...Miner has been struggling as of late

Arizona: what is it now 4 in a row against the Mile High Club...just dont like the pitching matchup on this one...

Alamo Im going to go over some of the other games...maybe I'll have a play dont know yet...Like to see what you have to say

I love the Fish again. You know I am a repeat offender. Fish win the series agains the road challenged Pirates.

Baker sucks for Minny but so do all the Cleveland pitchers. I am passing though as I don't like backing starters with inflated ERA's either.

Don't like rookie pitchers either (Boston)

I undestand how you feel about the Giants and Schmidt. I chased my small lose last night and caught up with it as the Giants slapped Peavy around early. Schmidt has not been good for me either so I am passing although I do like this game a little.

Toronto with Lilly....Yankees...passing

Detroit - we have them as a total play in System B. Proposing we through it out...more on that via email

Fogg has pitched very well for Colorado L2 games but I think Arizona has caught fire.

I like Fish for the big money.

Recommend (but I am not backing) Arizona and Giants.
