Wow what a shit team I'm dropping these clowns a notch or two in my power rankings and predict they won't even make the playoffs.

Yesterday vs the Tigers they had bases loaded with one out and score zero runs.

Next inning I believe it was, leadoff double, guy on 2nd with no outs and score zero runs.

This unlike an Ozzie Guillen coached team and teams that can't get back to basics and manufacture runs like this when the offense isn't clicking is the sign of a weak team.

Plus what have they gone like 1-5 now or something since after the allstar break? Face it boys this pitching staff isn't all that good either.

Contreras- looks to be wearing down. He only looks about 50 years old and looks like hes laboring after only 2 innings out there plus who knows how many innings he logged over in Cuba. Tired arm coming on soon.

Beuhrle- has been getting slapped arong real good lately.

Garland- is average at best and has a tendency to get shelled often.

Vazquez- has been a huge dissapointment.

Bullpen - weak.

On offense all you really have to worry about is Thome, Konerko and Dye and maybe the occasional Crede.

Have a feeling they drop to 3rd place within the divison soon and end up in a dogfight for the wildcard and end up not even making the playoffs.

one slump and they arent an elite team anymore? give me a break. Their pitching staff doesnt seem to be as invincible as it once was but no way in hell are they not one of the best teams in the league. Those pitchers dont win that many games by accident. When they come around they will get this team back on track. Also Cotts Thornton Mccarthy Jenks are a way above average pen. Sounds like the chisox been costing you some money lately and your bitter.
Oh and by the way a team falling into a 2-game slump and not being able to manufacture runs after averaging 5.8 on the season is not the sign of a weak team but a sign of being human

The three-game series with Detroit is a great snapshot of the 2006 White Sox. If they don't hit a bunch of homers, they are beatable. Last year they did many of the little things to win. Not so now. Detroit does.

As good as that Thome trade looks on the surface, it significantly weakened their OF defense. The middle relief has been spotty at best too.

I lost $105 on them yesterday and IMO they should have won the game 3-2 at least and other than that haven't been losing on them as I don't even think I bet to many games involving CWS, just pointing out observations this team is not all that good. Average team, overrated team.

NYY has done a pretty good job considering no Matsui or Sheffield. But then again if there were a real salary cap, they would be screwed.

I agree with you for the most part. They are a good team, but that's all. Their pitching has been average at best this year, and i think the yanks and bosox will both make playoffs when cws miss out.

They had so some of the white sox game on at the bar while I was watching the fight ,they looked pathetic tonight. Even crede was just popping up, they really starting to look like a different team from the start of the year. maybe its a bad funk but I think pitching is really their achilles heel.

I hope garland will turn it around tomorrow,I mean to be swept at home by the texas rangers. It may be a great turnaround game,to tell the truth the only game that stands out to me is the marlins with willis on the mound and the pirates launching the full force of tom gorzellany on the mound.
Oh well I cant see the sox getting swept but if koronka can shut them down ,do I want to take a chance with padilla.
who knows
cheers

Padilla stinks but good luck

Padilla is in the White Sox head. He was the pitcher that hit some of their batters in Texas and Guillen. Guillen still hasn't let it go. Today's game will be intense for sure.

And the slide continues on. Twinkles a mere 1 game back of the defending world champs. Expose.

Buerhle has mastered the art of giving up the 2 out 2 run homer.

Twinkles now in 2nd place.
