My streak came to an ugly end going 1 and 4. Rivera....wtf? Giants give up 3 meaningless runs in the 9th!!

That is old news. let's talk about today's plays and put it behind us.

Vargas doesn't do it pretty but he wins. Dbacks are hitting well.

Maybe this teams bats have awakened. I just know everyone hits Peavy this year.

Haren is a stud and I like my chances with his ample bats swinging behind him

Moyer is terrific and Boston doesnt hit the lefties too well anyway

Good luck on this one doubleparring. However it's strange to read you mention that Haren has the ample bats behind him as if you mean, and maybe you do mean, they've been hot. Some of the others I've read with their thoughts on this matchup have been mentioning just the opposite, that the Oakland bats are enimic. Interesting!
