any reason for taking Boston other than "they are good value at +120"???
Kyle "Slider" is a horrible pitcher and has had arm troubles his whole career...I would be real suprised if he pitches past the 5th inning. that being said I think Moyer -130 is a steal.
It would be very hard for me to lay-142 (it's only -136 at pinny) against Haren...
i'm not really "bashing" your plays because ANYTHING can happen in baseball...but when you include in your title "follow these plays" I think its fair that people should be allowed to openly analyze your selections, dont take offense...

bz...thank you for the reply. The only other reason to take Boston at +120 is the fact they're on a 4 game winning streak...off two shutout winners (albeit against the Royals) and have absolutely owned Moyer. I think anytime you can get a strong playoff team at + money going against a pitcher who is not dominant (and I think you would agree Moyer is far from dominant), you have to pull the trigger. This is a "value" play..no doubt about it. Moyer is certainly the better pitcher in this matchup but I look for the Sox to continue their domination over Moyer and put up plenty of runs tonight on the left coast.
