All the BOS Books Have Suspended Operations

Just got back from a party in LA, and checked some of my open accounts since I'll be betting again come football.

BOS, Millenium, Wagermall, Jaguar, etc. are all on hold pending the Carruthers thing.

I almost always draw down after hoops is ended, as I don't bet baseball, WNBA. soccer etc

But for some reason, just didn't get around to it, I left about a nickel in a BOS book called MVP sportsbook. Not a huge amount, and I'd had a few bucks in it for around 4 years. Never made many bets, but hate to get nailed on it tho, because of the shithead fed govt going after the CEO

I called the number that is still listed on thier site, this guy answered and said that there would be news Monday, after the hearing for Carruthers.
He thinks the boss will be released.

I told him I didn't think so, I think the fed govt here has gone mad, and that DC will be prosecuted. And, will I get my nickel back.

"Oh yeah, don't worry about your money," he replied. "Everyone will get their money, no matter what"

Uh-huh. That assurance and a dollar will get me a cup of coffee at Denny's

Wish it was. Go to any of the BOS sites (I checked only two, MVP and Wagermall - had an account there last season, did well and drew it all out) and you will see a notice that due to legal action in US the site has temporarily suspended operations. Or words to that effect.

Yo, redneckman, I checked your posts going back to mid-March ---and get this, this is your FIRST in that time frame that was not in either the Political Forum or the Rubber Room (which is about the same).

redneckman, as you might imagine, is a huge supporter of Bush, and the GOP. Unless he denies it with vigor, I assume he also supports these freedom-deniers in their push to destroy our pasttime. What say you redneckman? Ready to impeach Bush?

Of course I did hear about the ban online gaming bill, and the arrest of Carruthers. I did not follow it closely enough to realize that they had suspended the BOS betting sites, until
i looked at one. At the time I posted my question I think Carruthers had been busted only a few days before.

All the Bushmen are upset because I critique their hero.

And now this new outrage, that he, his party, and his Dept of Justice, are trying to fuck us all out of the right to spend our money as we chose.

A few minutes ago I asked all the dedicated Bushmen on the political board if - no matter how much they love the war and one particular ME country - they still support this guy who thinks he knows what's best for us, which is just about the same what the Rev Pat Robertson knows is what's best for us all.

I'm sure few want to read this ancient flaming, but I'll reply one more time, regardless of any responses by the redneck and his friend.

Search engines do falter. I once worked briefly for ebay, and now and then even today will sell stuff on their site. I know full well that they do on ocassion have faults in their Search engines- they either break down entirely, or more often delete certain items from a category. Their posters are always complaining or asking about it.

If a megabillion outfit like ebay, with the best techs $$ can buy, can and do have intermittent problems, it's hardly inconceivable that a small privately-owned company like The Prescription is perfect in all tech matters.

When I did the original redneck search ONLY his pol and rubber room posts showed. My mistake was in trusting to ANY search program, anywhere. It obviously opened me up to catcalls from the bleachers

I don't flame on this forum, but redneck did just that, making it worse by taking a dispute on another forum to this one. Political stuff is not likely desired here, and I will keep it off. But will respond, always and ever, if slammed first.
