More fallout from BOS - another sportsbook

Easybets.com, located in the UK, just dropped their U.S. toll free number in the past few days apparently. It is suddenly no longer listed on their website.

That's just great. They'll owe me about $3,000 in MLB futures bets when the season is over.

I will no longer feel safe putting any money into any UK sportsbooks. They are all wussing out on this.

I feel that very soon, our only offshore opportunities will be in Caribbean-based sportsbooks. The UK sportsbooks seem to be running scared and the few that accept American customers will probably stop soon.

That's fine, but they damn well better pay me for my MLB futures bets. Otherwise, bitch letters will have their executives' asses extradited here to the US if this bill becomes law.

I'll have no sympathy for these guys if they don't honor bets that were placed well before all the crap hit the fan.

This was posted a couple of days ago, but I suspect that you are right in that UK books will soon be all done with US players.

Do you recall who started that tread? I didn't see that post. Any other EasyBets players here?

I also have money tied up in StanJames.com and Bet365.com.

Jeez, this is just great. We've got thousands of pedofiles running free, and they go after gambling executives. Unfrickinbelievable.

Well, if EasyBets is owned by BOS, then it is a major issue for me and others who have money tied up there.

One look at the Easybets website tells you they are targetting the Asian market. Nuff said.

Right, and I recall their phone lines were manned by Asians in years past. I thought they were an Asian sportsbook until recently. They've always made me a little nervous. But their MLB futures lines are always incredible - they don't follow baseball much.

I regret messin' with them. Now, it will be a long wait until October.

Do you have money tied up with them, Woody?

I was paid out my mid four figure balance this week after the other BoS sites went down.

They are not trying to avoid paying you.

And if all your money is tied up in futures bets, I suggest calling them now, and getting something in writing indicating that all futures have action.

Thanks docdekay. I called and spoke with 2 asian chicks. They didn't understand what I meant by "futures bets." They said no more phone betting for US GI Joes.

One of them mentioned I could get paid by Neteller in October, but then when I asked what if that becomes a problem in October, she said, "Thank you, bye."

I think I placed my MLB futures with the Viet Cong. - i'm joking.

I can still log in and the futures bets still appear in my pending wagers. So I'll take it a week at a time. Thx.

They are simply complying with the restraining order.

I am not certain why they are complying with the restraining order, but they are.

My thoughts are they either want to get DC bail, or they want to settle with the DOJ for a fine and a we'll tell you where G Kaplan is if we find out or see him...

The restraining order said to stop US betting. It did not say you must close the company. BOS is prob 98% US betting. Easybets is prob 5%. Thus they decided it was worth keeping the employees at Easybets and telling the US players no more.
