We are a contender out West with the addition of Hillebrand. That lineup looks great for the 1st time all season. If Bonds can get hot, this team is DANGEROUS.

It looks a lot better with a healthy Bonds, Alou, Durham, Feliz in the middle of that lineup.

The Giants as a team are in a great frame of mind right now. Have been since calling a team meeting following the 10-1 loss to the Brewers. They are hitting, fielding, playing small ball and long ball, and their young pitchers are starting to jell. If Schmidt and Morris can improve their performances, this team has a very good chance to pull clear in the NL West.

I like their chances in the West, have ever since day one. 3 or 4 games is a pull away in this division kind of like the AL West is.
