Or so I've been told. At 2PM EST today all of the BoS books are going to open up shop again...............at least that is what their CS reps are saying. While they have all give nme different reasons why Millenium is now BoS, they have been consistent in saying that all sites will reopen today at 2PM EST. :dancefool

Yet, I still am skeptical.:smoking: Time will tell I suppose.

Called Millenium CS number.......three times in the last four hours and every rep said the same thing about the 2PM time.

They all gave me different reasons why the home pages of all their books were now BoS which is of major concern to me.

Its an interesting move. Sounds like some of the remaining braintrust is deciding they can't stand by any longer and let the US continue to dictate terms to them. Probably what will happen is some will leave not wanting to face the consequences while others figure there is nothing to lose because remaining under the orders of the DOJ pretty much dooms every penny in the books they have to failure.

Well, BoS -did- fall and it's been business as usual for everyone else. I would not draw any conclusions of the futures for other sportsbooks because of BoS.

That's a complete 100% rumor Ace, I just got off the phone with them myself. BoS will not be open today, and as I've been stating, it would take a miracle for BoS, or any of their affiliated companies to ever reopen again.

I just spoke to them too now & they said they had hoped to be up by today but will not be now.

Now I'm more po'd b/c I am getting the run around & still being lied to about e-thing. I just want my damn money back!!!!!!!!!!!

Consider your money a loss. If you get some of it back in 1-3 years, be thrilled.

I dont know what else to say, but between lawsuits, stock sales, legal fees, etc and one of the biggest con artists in years running the place, getting money back is very very unlikely.

This is why we diversify with many books. Millenium owes me $400 I happened to have sitting there from referalls. I've already deleted it from my spreadsheet balances. It is not coming back to me.

It is possible that Gary Kaplan has already drained their banks and left Costa Rica.

Don't worry, when they are done paying the $4.5 billion they owe the US govt, the players will be first on the list.

The good thing is, the RX guaranteed all balances up to $10,000.

That's not very good news for owed players. I respect Sean's opinion, hope he's right about BOS being desirable to others for a bailout.

I think the investors will get some of their money back before the players...but a few players are probably in line after that for the scraps. :drink:

I do not think the US government gets a cent.

I originally said you would get your money back, but this was before I read the things I have read about G Kaplan.

The man has shown multiple times that he does not care about the law. Additionally, it has been shown he has had a controlling interest in BOS.

It wouldn't surprise me if when the arrest went down, DC's wife called GK. Next morning GK wires out all the funds from BOS to some other offshore account... There are places that will not release it.

Now if BOS still has money - a big if, it is likely players will receive their amounts before shareholders. The company was to keep two balance sheets - player balances and their own profits. Courts willing to steal player balances to pay a lawsuit will be few and far between.

In either case, if BOS does have any money as of right now, it will be frozen by lawsuits in the UK. Costa Rica will ignore US demands based on illegality because they do not consider it illegal, but CR will not ignore UK courts because they have agreements in letting publicly owned UK companies work in CR.

Bro...early in this situation you were showing a lot of knowledge and helpful information. Recently, you are proving you are very out of touch with this situation. Kaplan has no access to BOS funds and has not been involved in any capacity with BOS for several months.
