EOG has learned that many Brits have jumped ship, left BetonSports and headed home to the UK to hide in the hills. "Some Brits have resigned from the board, even back in the UK," said a high level executive who spoke with us and asked to remain anonymous.

He continued by stating, "there is a rumor that Dalton Wagner might be one of the guys who left, too. I can't really give you an honest answer as of yet. There are people out there that say what is done with BetonSports is done and the company has a responsibility to the stockholders to bring the company back up immediately. Probably today. Of course, this leaves BetonSports in a precarious position, as basically the company would be saying screw you to the US."

EOG has also learned that possibly as many as half of the Brits working for BetonSports have already jumped ship and have returned to England already.

David Carruthers, as you most know by by now, the CEO of BetonSports, waved his hearing in Texas and is taking the show on the road to Missouri where the case will be heard and tried.

We don't personally believe that he will see the light of day soon, with the exception of his transit from Texas to Mo. Thereafter, we believe he will be retained until trial as he is a non-citizen, and the US has a strong case in the fact he is an extreme flight risk.

One industry insider told EOG, "If I were a UK citizen and was let out on bail facing 10-20 years in prison in a foreign country I would swim the first wave available back to the UK where I could live happily ever after....wouldn't you?

Your source is NOT GOOD

Forum Members:

Good afternoon!

I am sure that many readers realize that MANY of the posts are based on rumor. And, while I am not in a position to comment on much (until the company puts out official communications)... I can tell you that I am sitting at my desk working at BETonSPORTS. Furthermore, I am NOT aware of any Brit and/or Upper Manager and/or Manager to leave the organization - period. And, I am in a position where I would know of this happening.

Please (PLEASE!) take what you read with a grain of salt. BETonSPORTS, the Board of Directors and all employees are doing everything possible to rectify this situation for the employees, investors, bettors and industry.

Thank you,

Dalton Wagner

Hey Dalton...then ask your employees to stop telling people that you are going to reopen at a particular time. There are a few posters here that called and spoke with your CS reps and they flat out lied. Face it David is not coming home anytime soon until this goes to trial, you guys will be de-listed from the AIM board, your losing millions of dollars everyday and probably will change your name of the company also...

I would not say its the water...LOL

but I got mad when I read Daltons comments...he is telling us not to believe what we read on other sites, but his employees are telling everyone that they are going to reopen @ 2pm today...The DOJ will not lift the court order until the have Kaplan..thats the carrot on the stick. Make Kaplan come to USA to face charges, if not then you will remain closed....JMO

Until now, all I have done is read The RX and a couple of other forums. Now I'm going to post my opinion of this whole mess. I don't think BetonSports will ever resume operations and I don't feel bettors at that book or any of their affiliated books will see any money at all. Here's why.

#1. BetonSports didn't have to cease operations. They chose to shut down. The Department of Justice as well as any other US Governmant Agency has no jurisdiction at all over BetonSports as they are located in Costa Rica.

#2. In the past few months, Millennium Sports was offering as much as a 50% cash bonus. There were some lesser bonuses offered as well that carried a lesser rollover requirement. I would think that this generated not only a lot of new accounts but current account holders posted up even more money. Yes, I'm hinting that they planned this closure quite some time ago.

#3. Even if they reopen, there will be a mad rush to withdraw funds and I would feel that probably around 95% of account holders would cash out. It would be almost impossible to operate the company with so few accounts and it would be very hard to generate new business. Who the hell would open an account with them after this mess?

I had a small balance at one of the BetonSports books and I've already written it off. As I said above, these are just my opinions but I think BetonSports and its affiliated books are gone along with the money so many bettors had in accounts with them.

Once DC is denied bail, what reason does BOS have to stay closed? When is his bail hearing in Missouri?

Flight risk or not, I think he gets bail - he has not been violent, as far as I know has no criminal record, and has not defrauded anyone. He is essentially on trial for taking bets and I've never heard of a bookie with no record not getting bail and they are all flight risks. Some judges actually think and are not under the fist of the prosecutor. That being said, being tried in E Missouri sucks for him.

Assuming that Kaplan has not bailed with all the cash (None of us have any idea how the company is/was run), they have no reason at all to follow the restraining order at all. The DOJ was pissing in the wind when they wrote it up.

Surely true for non US customers ( don't have money there, i am assuming they are closed for "everyone" because of their message when try to reach their site ... LIGHT OF COURT PAPERS FILED IN THE UNITED STATES, THE COMPANY HAS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED etc. )

Are you kidding me,i have read many different posts thru the last week, yours make no sense at all.Why would a public traded company entice bettors to open or reload there accounts if they close shop investors, employees and CUSTOMERS are in a lose lose situation.

:monsters-

If he gets bail he will have restrictions to not leave the USA and will have a ankle monitor to restrict is travels abroad. And while this case goes to trial I dont think the DOJ will let them open back up because 95% of their clients are US.

This is one of the best posts out there on this whole dilemma.

It was my impression that the hearing was delayed and moved to St. Louis (Maybe something about not wanting to deal with a particular (rookie?) judge in Texas)

refer previous poster

1. they only did so because they got called out and their ceo was in jail so no point making the situation worse by telling the doj to go fuk yrself - this would be soley on legal advice.

2. just think they wanted to keep up with the market as they are a listed co. striving to generate profits - they got to be at the edge pushing for new clients and with their crooked rules they hardly ever have to pay out anyway

betonsports was a pure wolf in sheeps clothing preying on online gamblers and nieve share holders.

fishhead whats your status how many accounts do you hold in the bos family ? what are your thoughts about this whole matter ? finally do you regret speaking so highly of this group given some benefit of hindsight ?
