There will be a lot of $500 hands won very close to the departue time. Somebody that isn't planning to attend will certainly win a few of these hands. They won't be able to book late flights or it won't be worth it for the approx $250 value of the hand.
What happens to prizes won by those that don't show up ? Are they forfeit ? Can a winner appoint a proxy to play ?
