Didn't write it up, but Rays in past 28 versus what could fairly be deemed as starters in top half of league are an incredibly weak 4-24
In same 28 outings they've been dunked by 2+ runs 18 of 28.
Quite simply, the five week push prior to the AS break was all they had for this season. And even in that run of .500 ball, they were losing steadily to SP in top half of league.
The lineup is young and low OBP. They whiff more than almost any team in MLB and Shields has more than returned to center with the Rays going 1-6 in his past seven starts.
Angels are averaging almost 7 runs per game against Rays so far this season.
We played the RL as a Triple and the -2.5 runs as a Reg...fwiw
Passing the Brewers on our end as we think the time to pound the Anti-Pittsburgh drum is in Game 3 of the series where they are a lowly 5-23 on the year.
