3-1 (+5.85 units) yesterday
47-32 (+35.48 units) overall

Well I bounced back from my losing day on Sunday. I like some games today, some almost look too easy to me.

I got these lines from pinnacle at 11:00 this morning, but did not get a chance to post until after work today, so there might be a difference in the line I have here and what the current line is.

ny mets -119 vs cubs (3 units)..............I know the cubs pitcher is pretty good, but so what. So is Mr. Glavine and this game is at Shea. Throw in the facts that the cubs, well....they are the cubs. What a steal this line is at only 119. I was tempted to make this a five unit play, but sometimes greed can kill you. This should be a 4-1, 5-2 type of game. Under 8 looks pretty good to me as well, but I suck at totals and will lay off that one.

atlanta -132 vs florida (3 units)................As a phillies fan, I would love to see both lose, but I know that is not happening. I think you have to go with the home team here in the braves. Their bats were red hot a week ago, then cooled down for a few games, but I think they are swinging pretty well again. They seem to have alot of no-names that are getting the job done offensively. I have to give the marlins some credit as well, they have surpassed the phillies, but getting the braves at these odds at home is just too good to pass up.

houston -134 vs cincinnati (2 units)...........I have been riding the reds since the allstar break, and they have done well for me. I know the astros have a history of not giving the rocket any run support, but I will have to take my chances tonight. How often do you get the rocket at home only laying this small a number? Not too often. I might be a sucker, but I don't care....I have to try it.

st louis -148 vs colorado (2 units)...............I lost with the cards last night as they got blown out at Coors field. I still feel that the cards are going to pull away from everybody in their division. This time we get Carpenter (9-4, 2.83) throwing for us, and that should make a difference. I also do not mind getting Pujols hitting the ball in this ballpark.

milwaukee -155 vs pittsburgh (1 unit)..............almost a repeat of the game last night. Bucos have a better pitching throwing for them than last night, but when Ben Sheets is healthy, he is one of the better ones in the league. He has struggled so far this year, but playing the worst road team in the game has got to help. Certainly worth a shot, but only for one unit

phillies -114 vs arizona (1 unit)..................Why in the world are the fading phillies favored in this game? That alone is reason enough for me to take them. As the season progresses and you get lines that just don't make sense, you should go with the team that appears to not have much a chance. ryan madson was forced into the starting rotation this year, so I don't know how many innings he can give them. The phils middle relief has been really bad too. Their is just too much pressure on the Phillies at home right now. I really believe that the time to bet the phils is when they are on the road. Arizona playing well on the road lately too. Arizona just looks too easy tonight, so I am going the other way, but just for one unit.

I feel pretty good about tonights selections, I can smell at very good night.

Good Luck Everybody!!
