He first ruined his career by burning his ass out (plus wood)...now hes bein cautious what a joke of a manager...Giants gave him the pink slip for a reason.
That was not all Dusy Baker's fault for ruining Kerry Wood. It was partly Jim Rigglemen who took is toll on Wood in 98 when he averaged him 109 pitches per start, then Don Baylor decided to finish Kerry Wood's career by having him average 105 pitches between 2000-2002 after Wood's first surgery. Then Dusty Baker leaned on what was allready broken in 2003 and averaged Woody 111 pitches per start to finish his career.
I am a lifelone Chicago Cubs fan and at the age of 22 currently, I allready wonder whether or not I will ever see the Cubs win the world series. It is time for a change and a fresh begining. I do think Dusty is a good manager, but I question whether he can win in Chicago, but then again, maybe no one can win in the Windy City, unless you are on the South Side of town. Either way, Prior pitched a beauty today, and the Cubs going for three in a row.
