I hit a few of them a year journeyman. And I am reallly betting my parlays. But keep in mind that these are baseball parlays, so generally they are easier to hit than a football parlay.
I do know that people hit 5 team football parlays all of the time.
And I use them for freeplays where you cant use the stake amount even after you win

There was a bar that I went to during the football season that had parlay cards with terrible odds after a 2 teamer. 2 teamers were 3-1 but the rest were terrible odds. Well I would sit there on a friday and watch people lay $25 on 8 teamers or $100 on 5 teamers. I mean this guy that was taking the cards must of made a killing as he swayed the odds in his way even more yet plus people loved playing big odds.

notice the odds are 6 for 1, 12 for 1, etc. means you don't get your intial wager back i believe.

those were football cards i was talking about.....pick 4 10-1 odds.....most players would do it every week $10 or $20 a shot....I would take there money ($10) and if they won they would get $100..you could say it was 9-1 odds because i keep the $10....so for every 50 cards that i took $10.00 I would get $500 and one would win...netting me $400 pre 50...this is a avg....I remember one week I put out 160 cards and 25 players won....i would only take up to $20 on any one card lot of them would only play $5.00 each
avg. 10 times 160 = $1600 -play out that week $1500....did not make any money that week for all that running around:cryingcry
football card are just like parlays....they are fun because you are hoping for a lot of money for a small amount.....but in my mind they are sucker plays....from time to time I play for FUN ONLY
I've played a lot of these parleys anywere from 8 to 15 games and have only hit one an 8 gamer it was something like $7 to win $2500 but I can remember it was gonna be a 10 gamer and at the last minute took 2 games off both fairly big dogs and of course they both won and they would have made it worth like $15000.

Books see them as free money and I can tell you they do not appreciate when you hit something large and depending on the book, they will try to get out of paying said parlay. I know many places have instituted a maximum of 2 dogs in a parlay (plus money) because the payouts really fly through the roof when you put in a few dogs in one.... Others will say there is a maximum of X/1 that they will pay on a parlay
I would say its not too many folks that actually sit and put together these parlays. The most I've ever seen hit in one parlay I think was 12. This was years ago, this lady insisted on talking to me when placing the parlays so she'd have to be transferred over. The second day or so she hit that, which in my eyes, kinda made others think maybe I helped her cheat somehow. What are the odds of hitting a 12 teamer, and on the second day of trying

The local here passes them every Monday during football season and the funny part is that his max payout is $1500 a card and I have seen many cards people play that bet $10 on a 12 teamer that is 1500-1 or maybe more I can't recall. But they bet $10 and it will only pay the max of $1500.00. It is really funny to see these guys turn them in all the time and I have only seen him pay out maybe 15 time a season. But to turn a $10 card in that has a max payout of $1500. is crazy. This guy takes $1.00 to whatever you want to play. Best part of the cards is they are passed out on Monday and you have til Friday midnight to turn them in and alot can happen in between. Last season he got smart and offered a bonus play if you turned your card in on Monday night after the game. Which makes since because you won't have time to study it.
