any reson why RFK is not as "pitcher friendly" as it was last year?? I remember hearing them say that the ball would fly out of there when the summer heat wave came...but it really hasnt until this year...

Is it that much hotter in the DC area this year??? I'm pretty sure the dimensions did not change from last year...

it seems like you would have some insider info on your home ballpark...

Dodger stadium has seen higher totals because they added another level of seats on the field...really taking away a considerable amount of foul territory...plus the marine layer has not been around this summer (really above average temps so far)...it WILL likely be around this weekend when they play the Nats.... I probably would not know that if I did not live in the area.

I think this forum would thrive if we would give eachother info on the games/players (even if it is subtle insider info), rather then having 'here's my crazy 5 team parplay pending right now' threads all over the place...IMO

BOL today.

lol i agree.
nothing changed in washington really. its been pretty warm but the main difference has been the added talent to the lineup and the lessened talent in the rotation. Patterson is washingtons best Sp and he hasnt played and Livan is worse than last year in terms of his stuff. Add soriano to the nats lineup and thats gonna make everyone better and then we have a pretty bad Bullpen without Ayala, and thus we see more runs and more HRs.

I agree, Patterson was lights out last year and helped me win my '1/2 a Grrr' Fantasy baseball league...with various 'unders' along the way...

Mofome

Did you have - Gobble listed or hernandez? -

I like the o's chances better with a right hander in their BOL with th eplay going to tag along.

I also played the over in wash off to a slow start...

14 base runners in 4 and a half innings and only 3 runs. i see games all day that have teams with 4 hits and 5 runs...this game cant get a double or a single with men on...and when we do someone gets thrown out on the bases
