Livan is pitching poorly, thats what he controls. Cain is pitching well, thats what he controls. the outcomes of livans last 5 games have nothing to do with this one. How many starts has livan had with this new bullpen behind him? i wonder if that matters? seems as if it might. in two of livans last 6 starts he has an era over 30.00, and the nats managed to win one...you want to count on that happening again? all any of those things have done is help us get a better value for this play

I don't have an op on tomm's game...i just want to understand why you like a team that currently is going in the other direction(the losing direction) and is on the road. your write-up for the clev/det over was good...i want to understand your thought process here. I read somewhere that teams that lose 3 consecutive games lose a 4th straight 70% of the time...doers anyone know if this is true? sounds hard to believe....

I love it...there is a lot of value with Cain these days as his numbers are inflated due to his control problems early in the year. He is back to pitching like a true ace this month and has found his control.
