which of those 3 games have anything to do with tomorrows game? are you of the belief that SF wont win again this year? Is it your opinion that the nationals will not lose again this season? prior to SF losing 3 in a row, what was their streak? who pitched in those games? in Cains last 6 decisions how many has he lost? which team has the better record? who is in last in their division? in how many of Livans last 9 starts has he allowed less than 3 ER? has cains whip not been 1.17 or below in 3 of his last 4 outings? does cain allow more or less hits than innings pitches? Does livan allow more or less hits than innings pitched? Does Cain have more strike outs or more hits allowed? does Livan have more Strike outs or hits allowed?

who do you like?

I love the stats you provided and agree with you on the game, but if only baseball were that easy to cap this year...

there are many more reasons why i like this game, i gave a write up a couple days ago which included a few more things i look at. here i was merely asking the young man some questions. all we can do is put ourselves in the best possible position to win, we cant knock the guys in for them or save the games in the 9th

some people, randolph feel free to throw yourself in this mix, are too dumb to exist, really.
livan hern is 7-8. livan has won 2 of his last 5 decisions. people can find any trend to fit any play they want, what you have to look at is actual performance, not trends. Livan is pitching poorly, thats what he controls. Cain is pitching well, thats what he controls. the outcomes of livans last 5 games have nothing to do with this one. How many starts has livan had with this new bullpen behind him? i wonder if that matters? seems as if it might. in two of livans last 6 starts he has an era over 30.00, and the nats managed to win one...you want to count on that happening again? all any of those things have done is help us get a better value for this play

I don't have an op on tomm's game...i just want to understand why you like a team that currently is going in the other direction(the losing direction) and is on the road. your write-up for the clev/det over was good...i want to understand your thought process here. I read somewhere that teams that lose 3 consecutive games lose a 4th straight 70% of the time...doers anyone know if this is true? sounds hard to believe....

I love it...there is a lot of value with Cain these days as his numbers are inflated due to his control problems early in the year. He is back to pitching like a true ace this month and has found his control.

His stuff is nasty and no one can hit him. The only time he runs into trouble is when he can't throw strikes.

Let's cash this bad boy.

Look in this forum...everyone is on Washington. I think it is a pretty good split on this game with equal action.

I agree with Mofome that S.F. has the pitching advantage but S.F bats aren't looking that good. With Bonds and Vizquel possible out tonight it would be a no play for me. GL tonight. Smoke

I am amazed so many people factor Bonds into their handicapping with the Giants. He is not any better than Steve Finley this season. He is not the same Bonds.

Without Alou in the lineup, he wouldn't see any pitches anyway. Alou is the one that hurts not having in the lineup. He probably won't be back until Friday.

I dont see Bonds as a hugh factor at all but I think you have to factor in any regular starter that wont be in the line up. As for Alou that is the point I am trying to make. There lineup is looking pretty weak right know.
