inlcude NFL preseason this year?

Anybody know for sure?

Thanks,
Books Worst Enemy

I don't think so. I wish they would as the NFL Network's coverage of pre-season is HORRID to say the least. They will show 5 minutes of a game and then skip around from game to game. Hate that crap.:pucking:

No they wont.. they dont go live until the 1st game of the season. NFL network will have whip around coverage during the prime time hours and I remeber last year they would show Saturday afternoon games and west coast game late Friday (full games)

2006 national schedule
Below is the NFL's 2006 national television schedule, featuring games that will be seen by the whole country. More preseason games will be shown than last year, and NFL Network has joined the mix to bring you eight regular-season contests. This year's traditional Thanksgiving Day games are Miami at Detroit, Tampa Bay at Dallas, and a third game to feature Denver at Kansas City. There will also be a Christmas doubleheader with Philadelphia at Dallas and the N.Y. Jets at Miami. And with a full slate of games on New Year's Eve, celebrate the last day of 2006 with all your favorite teams.

Madden left and Al did not want to go ESPN for monday nights so he deceided to join him at NBC

FYI:
Bettis will be part of NBC's "Football Night in America," the 7 p.m. pregame show that will precede "NBC Sunday Night Football." The studio team helmed by Bob Costas also features Cris Collinsworth (late of Fox), Sterling Sharpe (ESPN), Andrea Kremer (ESPN) and John Madden (virtually every network in the Western Hemisphere). Games will be called by Al Michaels and Madden, who will cut back and forth to the studio group.

FYI:
Most pre-season games are show on local staions. Like here in Houston its our local ABC station w/ local sportscasters calling the game. The NFL has no agreements that stipultate that they must share the brodcast w/ cable or dish providors....JMO
