Obviously sportsbooks want to keep as much of your money in their book as possible, but Pinnacle's ruling on my latest cashout is pretty ridiculous.
In the past few months I have put $1000 into Pinny through Neteller, and $360 into Pinny through E-checks. Currently I have $2552 in my account and would like to withdraw $1300 to my Neteller account to put into some other soccer books, (because Pinnacle's soccer bets are awful.) I assume the $1200 left in my Pinny account will be a large enough amount to cover my bets, but in case I see a great bet and am running low on account money, I would like to be able to put money in that is available immediately. I vaguely remember E-checks being available immediately, but the terms of deposit say sometimes they aren't available for up to 10 days. I test whether the money will be available immediately by putting $10 in from my bank account, the minimum one can put in. It shows up immediately. GREAT! Now I can withdraw the $1300 and, if neccessary, at the click of a mouse get a decent size of money into my Pinny account immediately, rather than being charged 9% or some crazy fee from Neteller for INSTAcash.
I find out that my deposit for $1300 has been denied for the following reasons:
1) Upon reviewing your account, we notice you funded your account using E-Checks in two occassions. It is important to note that you need to return at least the amount of your E-Check deposits (360 USD) via E-Checks before you may use NETeller to withdraw.
2) As stated in the FAQ section of our site:
PLEASE NOTE: A hold is placed on all funds sent via E-Checks, and all winnings, until Pinnacle Sports receives confirmation all E-Check deposits have cleared. Payout requests cannot be processed until funds have cleared for all deposits made in your account using E-Checks. For your planning purposes, it normally takes 10 banking days to clear the first E-Check deposit and seven days for subsequent deposits. These are guidelines only as the timeframe to clear your E-Check may be longer
Your last E-Check deposit of $10 USD has not cleared yet.
3) We notice you made a deposit and are now requesting a withdrawal with no wagers made using this deposit.
Please see the information under How do I deposit funds into my account? in the FAQ section of our site.
Any deposit made to an account without a minimum amount of wagers placed will incur both the deposit and the withdrawal fee. Fees include those incurred by Pinnacle Sports that are normally absorbed and not charged to the client.
In accordance with our policies, if you proceed with the withdrawal your account will be charged the standard withdrawal fee of $15 USD plus the fee paid for your deposit, $4 USD.
So they are telling me I cannot withdraw $1300 to Neteller because I deposited $360 through E-checks? How does this make sense, especially when I have deposited $1000 through Neteller also.
Next, I have a $10 pending E-check. Big whoop. That would be less than 1% of my account money. Obviously this rule is put in place to prevent someone from depositing $100 on E-checks, betting it, winning, and cashing out before the original check even cleared. Not the case here.
Finally they tell me, "Oh, by the way, we'll let you surpass these rules that were put in for specific reasons not pertaining to your situtation, just pay us $15 for Neteller and $4 for deposit fee." What ever happend to my free Neteller withdraw per month? $4 I can live with for the stupid $10 E-check I put in, but the additional $15 is crazy.
Anyway, of course they had all these rules written out and I agreed to them when I clicked away, but they are very unneccessary especially for someone that has risked over $30,000 since May. If I did want to withraw the money with no fees, it seems like this is the process and time period I would have to go through:
Wait 4-10 business days for the $10 E-check to clear.
Wait 4-10 business days for the $360 E-check withdrawl to my bank account to clear.
Wait for Pinny to put money into my Neteller account.
Nice. Only 3 weeks away from wagering on some decent soccer lines if I play by Pinny's rules...
