World Series of Poker Main Event Begins Today - Drew Barrymore, Cindy Margolis and Doyle Brunson Appear
July 28, 2006
The Main Event at the 2006 World Series of poker begins today. There are many Hollywood stars in attendance as I have already seen Drew Barrymore, Cindy Margolis and Doyle Brunson in attendance. Drew Barrymore was plugging her new movie, "Lucky Me," soon to be released this summer.
Since we are talking gambling, you wouldn't believe the prop bets that Pinnacle Sports has put up for this Main Event.
I can bet on whether a male or female wins and get over 20 to 1 back by betting that a woman wins!
Other unique bets include whether the winner will be older or younger than 34 years of age, and whether or not a female will be in the Final 9. I can get receive 4 to 1 back on my money if a woman makes the final table. Or, if I want to bet on Ben Affleck, I can get almost 2000 to 1 if he wins.
It appears that Phil Hellmuth and Dan Harrington are two of the favorites right now at 360 to 1 and 504 to 1 respectively.
