In 5 weeks, it will be just as sunny out, but about 15 degrees cooler. Herbstreit, Corso, and Fowler will be on Gameday. There will be Bud Lights in the fridge. Wagers will be in. And there will be 3 months straight of Saturdays like this. College football is almost here, and I can taste it.

Thursday AUGUST 31st really, really gets the juices flowing for me.........

TEMPLE/BUFFALO----Lots of personal interest in this as I have many friends here in Tampa from both areas.

UTEP/SAN DIEGO STATE---Former Hawkeye great CHUCK LONG takes over the reins at SDSU as their new head coach and I would not miss this game for the world.

This happens to me every year. In late July, I look outside, it's hotter than hell, and really still the middle of the summer. But I am tired of the summer. And I start dreaming. Pads popping, smack talking, bets cashing, beers flowing, cool air outside, and 12 hours of football. Getting excited here.

Illini, my son, it is 98 degrees here. AT 6 pm, here in Jax, Florida Gators Head Coach Urban Meyer will address The Jacksonville Gator Club. About 2K rabid Gator fans will be there+yours truely! My ZUB is HARD for some College Football and cooler weather. Have you memorized chapter 7 yet? :lolBIG: LT :toast: arty:

This also happpens every year to me also about this time.From the Late morning Big ten game on Espn2 until the 48-45 PAc ten game on Fox that nite(and a lot of SEC in between)I love that feeling of my eyes burning trying to keep them open long enough to see the end.And College gameday is such a great show...I can hear the intro music now in my head!!!!!
