worse ever Chinese food I had was in upstate New York, Elmira to be exact. It had BROWN GRAVY on it, and the chow mein was made of spaghetti noodles ucking:

Since I vaguely recognize that Tiger Paw on your avitar I'm assuming you're in the same neck of the woods as I am. You have to be really careful when eating Chinese food in the south....if you're ever in Columbia Miyo's is good if you want to spend some scratch. Sesame Inn is a bit cheaper but still pretty good. If you want dirt cheap takeout, try Egg Roll Chen.....

Having lived off and on in South Carolina for the past 20 or so years, I can tell you that SC has the worst Chinese food on the planet.

The South doesn't have bad chinese food. Just gotta go to a bigger city.

Houston's Chinatown is one of the best in the country. Rivals that of NY and LA.

Can't really disagree on that...what is "best in town" here in Columbia would be marginal in most major cities....

It took me years to find a good chinese resaurant in CA. Nothing like NY or NJ for Chinese food. Still isn't te same in CA.
