don't these managers watch sportscenter zzz ...he only threw 90 pitches, 2 hits and they pull him...jeez just watch the tv nightly, there isn't a bullpen in the league that can protect a 4 run lead wtf....glad it worked for you though gl

Garner pulled him because they scored 2 in the bottom of the inning in the 7th....

He thought he was safe and didn't want to put Clemens back out there
I agree...Totally stupid move on the Astros part
Clemens could have EASILY pitched the 8th and then at least you have Lidge in the 9th

Byrnes didn't have a hit all day (0-3) and then bangs a 3 run shot

Right on cue Lidge comes in and shows how much he sucks. He gives up a 2 run HR. Man they completely wasted a great offensive game and a pitching gem by Clemens.
