ok , so i bet on Boston... I was just reading an article that "Sunday Night Baseball" is a trap. NEVER BET THE FAVORITE... it's a bookie's dream it says. Sigh......... the article goes on and says that people who bet Sunday Night Baseball lost on the earlier day games... the author goes on and says that this applies to Monday Night Football games for people who lost money on Sunday football. :realtongu

nah, they're not rigged. Just more attention focused on the prime-time matchup. If the Oakland or White Sox game was shown at night, I'm sure the gamblers would be also screaming fix at that.

Monday Night football has to be right up there in terms of trap. That is the biggest sports betting day of the week cause everyone bets on it.

Wow Schilling got rocked on back to back HRs.

Tough to say...Schilling has been great at home, and tonight he is giving up back to back homers and such

Tough one for Boston backers, tougher for Boston fans!

I know this game is far from over just judging by all the blown saves today but Schilling looks terrible. Like someone said earlier, you just have to throw out all the stats since they may have happened awhile ago. Remember this is the first time they've met each other this season.

But I can't say I picked this game on my own. It was a pure fade of a really cold capper.

this game is over.. Scott Sheilds and K-rod will close this game out for good this time... they have learned their lessons from the last game.

i always wondered about team/league rigging the games...

league to manager: 'lose this game on purpose, i will give u 100k"
manager: "ok. cool"
league: " don't tell anyone"
manager: "of course, np"

manager puts in brad lidge and gets the 100k

i hope you guys don't bet on beaver ball. Stay clear of the WNBA if you want a healthy heart. I've lost three plays tonight on a total of 3 points. You think Lebron is up to no good with his 10 point night, think again when you see the injury-riddled seattle sparks beat a healthy la sparks club.

I think any time there is just one game there is potential for trouble. The line gets a little inflated and chasers get in trouble.

Beaver ball huh? That's funny. I listened to a game on the radio recently where one of the dyke squads didn't score a field goal in the entire 2nd quarter. The sad part was they were playing the comets and the comets were only up by 2 at the half. Now that's just bad basketball.

Not sure if there is anything really to be learned here. I was caught myself on this game. Normally never play home fav's on Sunday night but had a forced bet on Curt that kicked in after he won his fifth straight home game that had produced 5 winners for me so I did bet him. 27 year plays 39 year old and wins. Kind of odd for the Boston coach to play that Van Buren down by 2 with 4 innings to go---. Anyway the force is gone as 39 year old Curt has had the streak broken and I am out some cash.
