If you want to go diving, hit the joint next to the IP (on the south side). If that's not your gig, you sound like you may want to head into north Vegas.

(I've never told anyone that before in my life....)

Slots of fun is actually owned and is in the same building as Circus Circus.
I really would not call it a dump at all and one of the cocktail waitresses there is a very good friend of my wife and myself.

Damn. I have an idea. How about you introduce me to her and dinner and drinks on me. Can you give me a physical description of what she looks like? Thanks. I like nice girls.

They do have several Pick 'Em and Jokers Wild VP machines which pay over 99.9%; with the cash back they turn into positive-return games.

Slots of Fun is just a casino, I believe...I don't think they have rooms to rent, but they might be associated with Circus Circus which is right next door, although not in the same building. I think SoF was in the same building with the Westward Ho, I know it was right next door and it may be connected. I haven't been down there in ages since the Stardust sportsbook closed!

Are you really from the Isle of Man? By the way, the NY-NY is nice but the sportsbook is tiny. I like the ESPN zone restaurant there but others don't share my enthusiasm.

The Ho was really a dump, but had some of the last really bargain food and drinks in town. Slots is somewhat of a similar vein, but a nicer place relatively speaking. That craps table they have at the front door is always packed and they supposedly have quite a few decent pay tables inside. The drink specials are pretty good too if you aren't gambling. Bellagio it certainly ain't, but it isn't that bad. Sort of like a casino you would see downtown.

used to work in a casino down the street from slots of fun. wasn't making that much money at the time. so on the way to work and after work i'd stop by sof, because they had 2 for 1 coupons laying all over the place (the street, etc.). so i'd grab 4 or 5 every trip and play them on the crap table, bj, and roulette. pick up a few xtra bucks, which was cool, because i was only making approx $65 per shift at my job. great beer special there at time on hieniken and corona.

True

Also, SLOTs of FUN is not as bad as WESTWORD HO..........may have been a tad harsh calling it a "dump".

It really isn't that bad..........and I believe they serve free coffee and doughnuts in the mornings.
