Jim, please read my thread about the Cubs game tommorow if you have the time...I REALLY REALLY REALLY would appreciate your insite...you are arguabley the most succesful capper I know, and for you to read the 2 posts I made in the thread, on the Cubs and Halos, would really mean ALOT...please let me know in my thread what you think after reading my breakdowns...gonna tail you on this florida game

You know whats funny, everyone would prob think that is the stupidest beti n the world, and WHO IN THEIR RIGHT minds would trade Liriano and etc etc etc...but Oli is jut having a down season...the kid is the REAL DEAL...closest thing to Randy Johnson I have ever seen...Liriano has had a great year, but many times kids come out ROCKING the league and if they dont have the capability to make adjustments after teams finally get a good read on them after and/or throughout the season, they turn into mediocre pitchers at best...Oli Perez is the type of pitcher who makes adjustments, and it wont be the first time someone says a team is nuts for trading their STAR PLAYER for Oli Perez...Brian Giles a few years ago, people thought the Pirates were begging for a decade of losing, maybe they havent won many more games, but boy did Jason Bay alone turn out to be a MUCH BETTER investment than Giles would ever be...and not to mention Perez lighting up the league when he got to Pitt, stirking out 12-13 every few games, and at least 9 in 9inn...please read my post about tomms games like I asked before and a response would be GREAT! :dancefool

I just personally talked with the Twins GM and he said the holdup is that the Bucs won't include utility man Jose Hernandez. Jim Tracy just can't live without his defensive flexibility

Phillies a tough team to figure out. They generally suck but then out of nowhere they will play well. Describes a lot of teams right there. Has anybody made money betting Philly games this year?

It also helps that Abreu is out of the lineup as well. Who replaces him in the 3 hole? Move Utley down a spot?

Of course I was joking about Liriano. I was hoping for something more than Nady and Chacon though. But this is simply par for the course for them - a cool $6 million saved today. The Pirates are a disgrace
