2-1, +3.8 units yesterday

Det/ Tam OVER 10 1/2 +105, 2 units

Kenny Rogers got the start in the All Star game, but he really hasn't pitched well recently. In his last start, he gave up 7 earned runs in only 2/3s of an inning. The Tigers have really helped him out by giving him over 7 runs per game in support in his last 9 starts. His last 7 starts have averaged over 14 runs scored per game. He's also averaged almost 5 earned rune given up in his last 6 starts

Fossum's starts have averaged 16 runs per game over his last 5 starts. Tampa has backed him with an average of 8 runs scored per game over the last five starts. He gave up 6 earned in only 5 2/3s in his last start vs. Detroit on June 15th.

I'm keeping this as a smaller play because each of the pitcher's last starts against the other team played under 10 1/2.

Good Luck. May be back with more.

Was/SF OVER 9 -125, 1 unit

Small play on this one. Three of Astacio's 5 starts have gone over 9 runs. He has a horrible ERA, and if you take out his first start of the year, it's well over 6.00. He's been getting run support at 5+ runs per game, which is great for this total of 9.

Lowry has seen some runs scored this year too. In fact, his last five starts have averaged 14.4 runs per game. 11 of his 16 (68.7%) starts have seen 9 or more runs scored this year. The Giants have also been giving him good support recently, 7+ runs per game for the last 7 starts.

Here's another unusual reason why I like this game. These two teams, and, in fact, two pitchers, just met on July 26th. The Final was only 4-3, with Washington winning. Lowry actually gave up zero earned runs in 6 innings pitched. I really can't see that happening again, and that game still almost went over. In fact, the only other time he gave up zero earned this year was his abbreviated first start of the season, pitching only 1 2/3s in a 6-4 Giants win.

I haven't had much luck playing overs in San Fran. And the Giants really stink right now. They have lost 7 straight. So one whopping unit on this one. In fact, the Nats have lost 3 in a row themselves.

Giants seem to be the most inconsistent offensive team in baseball, i think every game with Wash went over, then every game in Pitt under, could be wrong but thats about how it has been, you just never know what you will get with those hitters.

TKE, you are correct, except for the one game I listed. These two pitchers matched up for an under. The other two games went over in the series. 4 out of their previous 5 also went over before that series.

Julio Lugo is now a dodger, something to consider in the Tampa over, but still they have been mashing the past week for the most part.
