I wanted to thank the RX and Skybook for sponsoring me in the WSOP. (winning a NBA prop contest earlier this spring) I played Saturday and although failling to advance, it was quite an environment to experience. The electricity was comparable to an NCAA Final Four atmosphere at the Rio. For the record: I had $10,000+ in chips and drew a K-Q and then flopped an A-K-Q-. Sitting on Kings and Queens and in position, I played them strong on a $5600 re-raise. The pot was about $15K. No help on the turn or River and some check betting, I get beat by an Ace high straight, when the opponent flips his J-10 over. Never quite understood why he did not put me all in, but that's poker. Thanks again to Wil and Tracy at the Rx and Michelle and Mike at Skybook.

Hope you enjoyed your experience and time in the city. Hope you can make it back later in the month for the Bash and redeem yourself at the "true" Main Event, the Rx Poker Tournament.

Definitely an AWESOME prize & experience!!

Would you say that the majority of the players were passive\tight?

TT:
My table was very tight. A guy from KC sensed it and started pushing everyone around, after about ten minutes. I was not able to play a hand for the first 40 minutes. Lots of 2's & 8's. Won my first pot with a pair of 6's. Later hit a set of 10's for my biggest winning pot $4K. The personalities and psychology of any table are most interesting facets of the game.
