SNR just reported the owner told the GM to trade Lidge, i'm sure the Rocket agrees.

I was just about to post the same thing. I would too if I were the owner. Lidge is a liability and not the same pitcher after he gave up the moon shot to Puljos.

The Rangers, Mets, and Red Sox are interested. I think the Rangers would use him as a closer but the Mets and Red Sox are already set there.

Enjoy being middle relief or a setup man!

Do a search and I think I am the #1 Lidge basher on this site...

With that being said, I would give my right nut for my Giants to make a deal for him. :suomi:

Yeah maybe he just needs a new uniform. Maybe a new stadium. Maybe a new brain.

Whatever he needs, he can blow saves just as easy as Benitez has for us. Anything is an upgrade from Beni right now. Lidge just might get back to his old self. SF is a much better park to pitch in than Houston.

ESPN's Jayson Stark just said that ownership has not demanded that they trade Brad Lidge.

They probably couldnt make a deal and are stuck with him the rest of the year so he had to deny, deny, deny.

Oh yeah I forgot about Benitez. He is terrible. A Lidge would be an upgrade. Hell get Sam Cassel out there pitching and he'd do better than Benitez.
