Please help me with the following:

Does the Stratosphere have season win totals for Football?

Does Mandalay Bay? I know they have in the past, but I heard that may have changed this year?

I know several places use the EXACT same odds. What places should I avoid?

Anyone know what Vegas books have odds that actually differ from everyone else?

Much appreciated

Tim,
MGM/Mirage/Mandalay properties all use the exact same lines.

All Harrah's/Caesar's properties do the same, with the exception of the IP which is still independent.

Most other books clone their lines or stare at the screen.

Stratosphere does have their lines up and does a fairly good job of being independent.

Hilton, Palms, IP are the only independent ones I know of (meaning they don't clone and aren't tied in to multiple properties).

That's good info.

What do you (or anyone.....) know about lines at the Venetian, Wynn, and any other hotels not mentionned above that I am forgetting?

Venetian has bland baseball lines. Nice book to sit in, nothing special as far as offerings.

Wynn has 10 cent baseball lines, excellent book, excellent lines. Will take bigger bets as well. I had forgotten about them, I guess they are a little too high-society for me.

The Aladdin has some interesting lines.(CBB & FB)

Golden Nugget,Tuscany,Terribles & Hard Rock too.

Do you know if any of those are independent lines? I'll be in Vegas for a few days and did not want to waste my time in books that deal same lines (College, pro futures, mostly season wins).

Here are some other books that maybe people can tell be if they are connected to anyone or use their own lines.

New York, New York
Gold Coast
Bellagio

Other downtown casinos?

Luxor

All the Coast Properties (Barbary\Gold\Sun\Orleans) are owned by the same entity. Not sure if they all use the same #'s though.

Tim, NYNY and Bellagio both owned by MGM Mirage =same lines.
Gold Coast same as Stardust, Barbary, Orleans, South and Sun Coast.

NYNY might seriously be the worst sports book in town next to the Golden Gate.

I'll go one further than GD as to NYNY: worst casino in LV for my purposes. Lousy sportsbook, no poker room, terrible 21 offerings. The superwedon'ttryfecta. Hotel rooms aren't much of a value from what I here also.

I'll be in Vegas in 48 hours, and will try to hit the key sportsbooks that offer independent lines.

I'll try the Alladdin and the others as well if I can get there, as I always do like finding choices in the lines. Do you know which ones have college win totals?

Many of us live in Vegas and couldn't tell you who has college win totals for a simple reason: we don't bother going to the local books. They follow what offshore does, but slap on a bigger margin in most cases.

I'm trying to use a mix of Vegas books and offshore this year for my future plays. I normally have 5-6 offshore outs, but want to cut back until I see what's happening with the current BOS story.

College and NFL totals are up at the IP. The Big Hilton has them up as well, along with a ton of "games of year". We will likely have our "games of year" up within a week.
