hmmm, no way to edit your own post?

Phi/Stl
Mathieson's two road starts avg. almost 15 total runs.
No start tallied less than 9 total runs.
Phils last 4 games averaged almost 17 total runs per game.
Phils averaged 8.5 runs per game last 4 themselves.

3 of last 4 and 6 of last 8 Suppan starts at home hit 11+ runs.
Eventually St. Louis will be good again and score.:nopityA:
Suppan has had three great starts in a row, so keeping this smaller.

Also hot, humid and wind blowing out to left will help in St. Louis.

Anyone know how to just edit your own post? It says it's allowed, but I don't see a button to do it.

This is an instance where I think even Vegas is giving a pitcher too much credit. Pettitte has really been an average pitcher this year. an astounding 12 of his last 14 starts have gone over 8 total runs. In the two that didn't, he gave up four and five runs. He's been getting well over 6 runs per game in support over his last 6 starts too.

Peavy hasn't pitched much better recently either. His last 5 starts have averaged eoo over 11 runs. 4 out of his last 5 home starts have gone over tonight's posted total of 8. He's had good run support in his last 5 starts too, over 5 runs per game.

I know runs are tougher to come by in San Diego, but tell that to Peavy. His last two home starts have totaled 26 runs, both losses. I think this game should be an 8 1/2 over at least. But Vegas is giving Pettitte more credit that he deserves. No Berkman adds a little to that too.

I doubt I'll have time to do the Was/SF over.

Was/SF in a hurry and abbreviated.

These two just faced each other in Wash. A 6-5 game. Hernandez has pitched 7 of eight to 9 or more runs. 6,7,8,8,4,9 were the runs given to him in support his last 5 starts.

5 of 6 of Cain's last starts have all gone over 9. He just gave up 6 earned to Washington in his last start.
