Wow!! did I ever take a beating or what yesterday? No excuses. I liked the games I took, they just lost. I guess I was due for a day like that....it has been since before the allstar game that I sucked that much.
A few afternoon games already underway or over, so have to pass on those ones. Still alot left and I like them again tonight.
cincinnati -105 vs dodgers (3 units)...........You guys should be used to me being on the reds by now. I have been since the allstar break and they have done well for me. I am not afraid of Penney for the dodgers. I don't think his second half will be as good as the first was for him. Dodgers usually struggle to score runs anyway and I think after the loss last night that the reds put some runs on the board today and win rather easily. I would play the runline, but greed kills. It was tempting at plus 186.
arizona -110 vs cubs (3 units)...........Cubs seem to be playing a little better, but they still suck in my eyes. I have been riding arizona lately as well. The diamondbacks and reds are battling for that wildcard, and they both just seem to keep on winning. Nice odds to only lay 110 against the cubs, even on the road.
st louis +106 vs philllies (2 units).............Once again, I am going to go the opposite of what I think the phillies will do. They are playing good ball, st louis is not. We got myers pitching...phils getting closer to getting back into the wildcard race. All the momentum is with the phils and not the cards right now. Heck the phils are even favored at st louis, that almost tells you they are going to win. That just all makes too much sense. The cards will pound them tonight, watch and see.
boston -133 vs cleveland (2 units)...............Just coming back with the sox at home again since I lost with them last night. Boston still has a great home record and the tribe is just not a very good club. Heck of a deal only laying 133 with boston who is due to unload on somebody.
mets -102 vs florida (1 unit)...........Florida with a two run homer in the ninth to win it last night. They won't get as lucky tonight. Mets just simply the best team in the nl east this year and anytime you can get them at this price it is worth a shot.
atlanta -113 vs pittsburgh (1 unit)...........It was not the long ago that the braves pulled with 4 games of the wild card and all of a sudden everybody was on them saying they are going to make the playoffs. Still the same team, with a couple of injures, but they are still only 5.5 out of wildcard race, so anything is possible. To make a run like they need, you have to beat teams like pittsburgh and I think they will tonight again.
