They probably deleted multiples from the same IP address. I heard some people say if you deleted cookies you could vote over and over...

68% is better than 92%. 92% says tampered with...

Absolute fudge. We checked all the time and it was 91 or 92% in favor at the end for sure. 68% is not bad but I they fudged.

Absolute fudge...I saw it right after the poll had closed and it finished 91% YES. Unless they did something like throw away multiple responses from the same IP address (which I doubt) the poll results are flat out made up. 68% ain't bad, but we manipulated the results of that poll fair and square...

Doh!

I was about to fall asleep last night and had a revelation. I figured out what the problem is, and CNBC has been vindicated for cooking the books. The poll originally mentioned here and the one from last week are two different polls. The one we were voting on last week said:

"Should all online gambling be legalized in the United States?"

while the one that Ace in the Hole posted the link to said:

"Should wagering on sporting events be legal in 50 states?"

Here's the link to the poll we were voting on last week, with the final results 91/9 YES.

In other words, this presumably un-manipulated poll further vindicates our position.

The poll is meaningless any way it came out. Do you think there weren't folks from the anti-gambling right wing true believers that weren't jamming it a 100 at a time , too?

Obviously no web based poll provides a scientific sample. Plus, I'd imagine that the viewership of CNBC would skew strongly toward a pro-gambling stance anyway...
