Having a great month of May...

However there is no one close this May in the AL than Boston's newest and brighest star Adrian Gonzalez who is a cinch to be AL player of the month in May. Gonzalez now hitting a robust .340 with a ML Baseball leading 43 RBI.. Could Gonzalez be one of the reasons Ortiz is seeing some pitches to hit this year.

The Sox behind a brilliant Jon Lester dusted the Cleveland Indians with a 7 run first inning today on way to a 20 hit - 14-2 rout over the best record in baseball holding Indians and are now 16-9 in May and have won 10 of their last 12. Counting today's numbers Big Papi is hitting .303 - plus the previously slow starting Carl Crawford went 4 for 4 today with a homer and two doubles. Lester (7-1) allowed three hits in six shutout innings and won his seventh straight decision. Josh Beckett leads the AL in ERA at ..169...
