Does anyone have access to any resources or have any knowledge of the gambling laws of Holland?

I am specifically interested in laws in relation to sports betting, gaming and lotteries over telephones and the internet. As there may not be legislation for this, then information relating to all land-based gambling would also be helpful.

Finally, I am also looking into any legislation relating to betting of any description over mobile devices in Europe. Has anyone seen any publications in this area from the EU or national bodies.

Thanks.

It is against the law to play poker online while simultaneously watching porn, placing a sports bet of more than $1000, and getting a hummer from a hooker.

Well now I have a serious question here; Which place would be cheaper to live Las Vegas or Holland? If it's close I'll give the edge to Holland because of my favorite brew....Heiny!!

Apartments in Europe are expensive. I was looking at some a few weeks ago in Rome, Greece, and Holland - I ruled Holland out because i figured it would take 10 years off my life and I have already lost 10 living in Miami Beach... But when I looked, it was expensive. Vegas is dirt cheap.

Apartments in Amsterdam are NOT expensive at all, depends what you are looking for I guess, but you can get a decent flat for around 300 euros.

Depends which area you want to live in, obviously areas like Leidesplein are more expensive then the west side or such. I lived by Albert Culp Market and it was 1200 for a two bedroom with a patio and storage space.

For 1000+ euro, you can get a great one bedroom or two bedroom in almost any area of Amsterdam, for 300 euro, my buddy lives in a decent sized studio in a canal house....great place to gamble and play the market due to the time change in my opinion. Plus, it has all a single man can want and handle!
