does anyone know if its okay to not pay one of these things. my wife, nj resident, got a speeding ticket in NY. 91 in a 65. so ticket for speeding was $355 which she paid. now NY state wants another 300 for this fee for getting 6 pts (all from the one speeding ticket). they say if you don't pay it, you will get your NY driving privilege taken away. doesn't seem like there is anything more to it. so if she's never going to be driving in NY again, then its ok to not pay this?
