come on Jim, tell me you dong like the Blue Jays...line @ -170 for Halladay against the WS Champs and their 11-3 pitcher...line looks WAY off, but I will take Halladay every game for the rest of the year (if under -220) and i guarentee a profit will be the final count...what do u think? I took them to win 2 units...did they show up as a paly on ure system, or you think line is to high...Halladay only has a 1-1 record in 5 starts, so I Know it is very possible for a potent CWS offense to keep the game tied and Halladay to pitch a good game and leave after a high pitch count with a ND..but the line really made it more appealing...why would a inferior team be such heavy favs against a team with their 11 win pitcher on the mound, who have not been dominated the least bit by Halladay, while on the other hand Garland is something like 7-2 lifetime vs the Jays..something about this game makes me love it @ such a high price, and I am willing to take the shot with who I see as the best pitcher in baseball right now
Yea I can see reasons for taking both sides of Jays-Sox. If I were starting a team from scratch, Halladay would be on a short list of number 1 overall pick considerations. Dude is that good. But the price is a little steep considering he is facing the ChiSox and the Jays are coming off a demoralizing sweep in NY. Then again you won't see me on the oppositie side of Halladay often if ever. He is one of my favorites. BOL with your plays fellas :toast:
Back to some of the other picks, I do like Houston Balt and Oak. Oswalt finally looked good and is always capable of the completley shutting down a team. Chen was money last year and Randy could struggle and +300 works for the show. Zito is well, very good besides last years opening stretch and the bats might show for the playoff race.

Thanks Dub. Baseball is such a long season - there will be ups and downs. I was running good that first half of the season and the last month or so I have been running bad - it's going to happen. Hopefully I can have a good run these last 2 months. The bankroll is fine as I haven't touched it all season and I have only used 1 out for bases (Pinny). My main goal in betting bases this year was to:
1) Have fun and give me something to watch while I play poker 40+ hours a week
2) Build the bankroll for football
I have never bet much preseason NFL but am thinking of doing so this year. I mean a lot of these games are nothing more than a coin flip so those dogs look juicy. I believe I will dabble a bit to get warmed up for the season. Can't wait

Well Look at Bennies NFL for sure if you ever follow a poster. He was killing College too until last year when he was 50/50. But those MNF or weeknight college games with only one game on the board he was incredible. Anyway we bought a forum together. He can be found in site promo under my post there for the Aug mlb pod contest. I'll bump it now. Keep an eye on him regular season nfl there is no better. Usually posts only one play even on sunday. Not selling anything but come week 1 he is worth watching. Also feel free to join the mlb aug contest if you like, but your probably at least 3 units behind starting now.
