Anybody know anything about this cat? He's up against Clemens today, and I would think he'd be a higher dog than +145. Especially with his over 10 ERA.

I know he is about 7 ft tall and was from WV. He was a star there.

He has the tools to be a great pitcher. His last outing sucked.

Nippert is 0-1 with a 10.80 ERA this season. He made one spot start June 7 against Philadelphia, allowing six runs and seven hits over five innings. He was 12-5 with a 5.05 ERA at Tucson and he's tied for the Pacific Coast League in wins. Consider using the prospect in NL-only daily leagues against an Astros team that has difficulty scoring runs.
