I think sports bettors would show more profit if they put as much time into handicapping sports like golf , tennis and nascar instead of the team sports.

If you kept detailed databases of how players did at certain courses, courts and tracks .

Also how they did heads up vs others .

Anybody think the same way or look to play these instead of the big 4 sports ??

Despite the fact that there is a bit of randomness to NASCAR, I think there is a ton of money to be won there. There's a lot of information to follow, but it's all available to the public. In what other sport is "practice" on national television? I TiVo qualifying and Happy Hour and I do pretty well in NASCAR matchups.

Same here. Very profitable sport for this guy. Wish it was not just once a week.

True but they are but competing against many more opponents instead of just one (other than tennis)......

I have had some success in these various sports by picking the right spots and getting what appears to be a mismatch at decent odds.....

Not too fond of taking some tennis god at -27000 and trying to pick a winner against 10-30 other contestants doesn't appeal to me much either.

If I was going to bet nascar I'd concentrate on individual matchups like Jeff against Tony and skip the "Who's going to win props" that generally pay lousy in a sport where a dozen drivers have a legit chance to win. Getting 5 to 1 on a driver doesn't put money in my pocket if he doesn't win.......I might take an individual matchup, and like others in this thread have already pointed out, hope my driver doesn't get put through the wall on turn three of the second lap.

No need to keep databases for golf. Just visit tour-tips They are up hundreds and hundreds of units.

When they post, the line moves against them in under 30 minutes and I wouldnt call them WA, but they are extremely profitable. I only watch stanley as he has been posting for lke 6 years... I've watched for 4 or so. The other guys are newer..
