Landis betting question

Nothing...the outcome of the day of the event is all that is relevant for betting purposes. Landis bettors keep their loot, bettors on whomever the 2nd place guy was are outta luck. The books have to do it this way--first of all, good luck getting money back from those that have already been paid. Theoretically, an offshore book could just debit your account but its not like Nevada casinos can just hope that Landis bettors will be lining up to give their money back. Also, if they didn't do the "day of event" outcome thing they'd have issues like a football player being declared ineligible years after the fact and having his team having to forfeit his college games.

Some books might pay the second place guy too.. Ladbrokes has done this before as a public display...
