I am looking for your thoughts on the top prospects either in the majors already or ones that will be one day, I ask because I am just starting to collect baseball rookie cards for my daugther (4yrs old) as a small investment/fun hobby sort of thing since I decided to keep all my valuable hockey cards to pass down to her one day, any help is appreciated, thanks in advance guys.

Thanks for the list mofome, I took your advice and bought some Verlander and Hernandez rookies today along with some Ryan Howard rookies. Will pick some of the others as well in the next few days.
Dub which Hemsky do you have and is it for sale? I have thousands of hockey card rookies going all the way back to Orr. And I agree with looking for graded cards or if you get aq deal on a lot have them graded your self. My Crosby and Ovechkin U/D rookies are mint IMO but I am going to get them graded and would be surprised at anything less then 9.5.
