SO if the lawyers at ESPN have decided that no one can wear or advertise .com gambling sites, they might want to stop showing the tournies they have been showing for the past 12 hours where Phil Hellmuth has a giant Ultimatebet.com hat.

The .com thing supposedly came down from the gambling commission.

What is really dumb is around the WSOP there are a few rake rebate sites that created .net just to advertise around there. Not that the content changes because you can't bet at a rake rebate site, but just to fit under the decree from the gaming regulators.

There were plenty of .net sites out there that are pokerrooms. I don't remember them all, but while there, I wrote down the little ones and most went directly to poker...

And the .net comes from either ESPN or the cable carriers as well - otherwise the commercials would say .com regardless of what the WSOP did...

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Why dont they just drop the .com from the advertising and reffer to themselves as "Pokerplayer" website?
