IT is one thing to outlaw gambling - whatever...

It is another thing to cause at least 100,000 and probably more like 1 million Americans to lose millions of dollars.

40-50,000,000 gamble online based on what congress says.

If 5% use BOS, which actually is probably higher, that' 2million.

If average balance is $1000, that is $2 billion...

All lost due to the DOJ action.

At what point will BOS say, we'll open back up and pay your citizens when you drop the case.

It can not be good to piss off a few million voting Americans... If they did not know abotu the Republican bill, they do now.

When the public have their say and the congressmen/women are voted out. Not until then. My congressman has been in office for 20 years now and I say enough.

I really think this is BOS's plan.

Only they know whether they have 100,000 or 5 million US players there with money tied up...

I think the plan is do nothing and let thousands or millions of Americans get pissed off at the DOJ.

Our world is not that big Sean. Many who participate in all this are truly clueless.

Hard to imagine that the DoJ is not going to want "receipts" as proof that BOS made restitution to US bettors ... wonder if any BOS accountholders have thought about that.

This is the DOJ's and the Leach/Goodlatte/Kyl crime family's wet dream. They know offshore betting is perfectly legal. That's why they are trying to pass legislation to make it illegal. And the crooks/ clueless jerks at BOS played right into their hands by closing their business, even though there was absolutely no valid, legal reason to do so. So now it gets press that they were able to close an offshore, the masses think it actually may be illegal and that they could very well lose their money. So the DOJ and Leach/Goodlatte/Kyl get their desired result without any new law. They could care less about all of their own citizens that they screwed. Their mafioso friends/contributors will benefit because people will go back to locals.

80 percent of Americans believe that gambling is a question of personal choice that should not be interfered with by the government: http://www.onlinegamblingmythsandfacts.com/polls.htm

Just we need to stand up for our rights. If not, why are we living in the US of A? The government is meant to be our servant, with our representative listening to what we want.

But how the hell are the Senators going to know the reality if no one tells them in person?

How many posters here would go on a free trip to DC to speak to their Senators?
