US Gov sucessfully shut down BOS/BETMILL by arresting and pressuring company's CEO/upper management.

Now that this tactic has worked, who will they target next?:icon_conf

Are any offeshores safe from heavy handed ways of US Gov?:nohead:

Yogi....There will not be another CEO from any off-shore sports book come within 500 miles of the U.S.A airspace...Lol....So they only way some more may get pressured is if the go after some of the BIG agants here, but I do not think that will have any more effect than busting your local, life goes on.

The jury is out, so to speak, on whether the tactic has worked. The little lady prosecuter may be in over her head.

With BOS firing Carruthers then sending no to the to the hearing, has resulted in no one being served. The prosecution is now forced to serve BOS in Britain. This opens up a whole new can of sticky international worms. So this may not happen. The temporary restraining order expires August 14th.

Business, though more cautious now, will be as usual IMO.

Wow...I have to disagree.

It has already had a HUGE effect. Look at the sportsbooks not taking phone wagers now. It has had a drastic effect and I can't believe how gutless these books are that have stopped taking calls.

WWTS was looking to save $$ on call center costs. DOJ had little to do with it.

I am sure Sportsbook.com was looking to do the same at this time of year also. :missingte

What a coincindence...Bet365 was also looking to make the same change. A lot of books making this change without warning.

Trust me, it's not a coincidence.
