From another site.....

"August 14th is the day the restraining order is set to expire. It is expected that the Judge will make some kind of ruling instead of extending the temporary order. I believe we will learn something near that date. I have heard it’s 50/50."<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Yes my mind is complety scewed as well since all this happened, I just can't get past how much I could lose. From what I understand if the judge makes a ruling it will most likely be in favor of a permenant restraing order......

I am having a hard time dealing with it.I get mad everytime I think about it and its hard not to think about it.I would have to a great football season somewhere else just to break even if all is lost.I even requested a withdrawal the day before which the hourglass ran out on me.

I feel bad for everyone who lost with BOS, but I can not understand why people familar with these forums would have a lot of money in one book, let alone one that has had no pays in the past.

Sure, it makes sense to me to take on a C or D book for a bonus or some unique lines, but with 1 or 2 % of the bank.

It also makes sense to me that Joe I don't know how to gamble would see a BOS ad and put his whole gambling bankroll there..

But anyone who reads this or any other forum should know to keep their money diversified.

Many people here say they have 5 or 6 books. I think they are crazy (Even some of the sharpest people I know). No way am I having more than 5% of my money in any book like Pinnacle or Olympic and no way am I having more than 1-2% anywhere else.

For those of you that had $10,000 at BOS, if you have a $500,000 bank, this makes sense. If not, I feel bad for you, but honestly don't understand. We've seen at least one major book die each year for the past 5 or 6 years.

I had a significant amount at BoS. I was aware of all the controversy regarding BoS, but I won a couple fairly significant prizes in contests sponsored by BoS. In order to collect the prizes, I deposited some cash. I also had some $$ at PlayerSuperbook, which frankly, I did not even know was a BoS site.

Overall, I lost about 40% of my bankroll for football, but realistically, only about 1/4 of what I had at those books was from $$ that I actually deposited. Having said that, it still hurts!

I would have a very hard time having 10% of my bank at any book, let alone a C or D ranked book...

This is not a told you so post as obviously it is after the fact, but more of a hopefully people are paying attention now post and will diversify.

Sean you are beating a dead horse at this point. Most of the guys posting about this were unaware of any wrong doing by these fools. I just found this forum myself a month ago. I had been with Millenium for 6 years and used a handful of locals in fear of something like this. I knew BoS sucked , but I had no idea that BoS owned Millenium. I was shocked to high hell when I saw they closed and found out that they were owned by BoS...especially since I just redoposited my football bankroll two days prior to the site closing. Its a lack of research on my part I suppose but like I said, had no problems with them for 6 years and they were endorsed by one of the most legit sports services that I know so I had no reason to suspect any wrong doing.

BETonSPORTS upper management remains silent while new rumors and speculation on the fate (and possible demise) of the sports betting giant circulate at a faster path. Meanwhile owed players lose faith they'll ever see their monies again.

BETonSPORTS Board of Directors and upper management remained silent after last week Tuesday statement to the AIM in which the company announced that the TRO had been extended to August 14. The company shut down its operation July 19, partially abiding to the TRO without formally acknowledging it. No payout has been processed since and U.S. and non U.S customers of BETonSPORTS monies have been kept hostage since.
Players who called the operation seeking information reported being told all sorts of stories, none of which turned out to be true. "It’s disheartening having to witness such chaotic management of the situation" said Roberto Castiglioni, founder of TOW "Clerks should be told what to tell customers by the floor Managers and not allowed to make up stories as they go. These reports makes one wonder if there is anyone in charge there."
New rumors about the possible demise of the sports betting giant surfaced in the last hours. Several sources reported allegations according to which BoS Operations Manager Dalton Wagner would be busy moving part of MVPSportsbook players into panama based Bestlinesports.com. The sportsbook is also mentioned in the July Indictment for facts related to when Bestlinesports.com was hosted by BETonSPORTS in Costa Rica.
BestLineSports.com allegedly cut all ties with BETonSPORTS when the company moved to Panama in the summer of 2004. The company began operating out of the former premises of failed Betpanam.com. Corporation Britannia (dba Betpanam) managing director Bill Comee brokered the move obtaining Bestlinesports.com to pick up a number of customers owed by bankrupt Betpanam.
Sources reported Bestlinesports began to hire 50 ticket writers last week, a number of clerks well in excess of the operation's current needs. In the spring of 2005 TOW visited Bestlinesports. At that date the company had approximately 1,000 post up active customers. One of BLS original owners left the company in January 2006. BLS has been unavailable to comment on these allegations.
While BETonSPORTS founder Gray Kaplan

remains on the run, his whereabouts unknown, another Costa Rica sportsbook, Igotsportsbook.com, is allegedly quietly taking over BoS customers. Costa Rica insiders reported that Kaplan is the real main man behind Igotsportsbook. The operation was launched weeks after Kaplan sold 30% of his stake in BETonSPORTS. A Miami Beach company, Beach Marketing, was the original contact information for Igotsportsbook. This was changed after the July 17 Indictment was unsealed to Antigua based Shwig Marketing. The contact email address,
andrew@exark.com, remains unchanged. The previously listed contact phone number, +1 305 889 9568, has been removed.
TheOnlineWire.com opened a Hotline for BETonSPORTS customers last Saturday. Over 100 players have contacted TOW in less than two days seeking information on this developing story. Players wishing to contact the BETonSPORTS Hotline may do so by clicking here.
Sources within BETonSPORTS reported that the company is exploring the option to re-open after the August 14 hearing migrating all its Web properties under a .co.uk suffixed domain name. The same sources told TOW that "players' money is secure and all players will be paid regardless of how things will pan out at the hearing." More or less the same story players who called BETonSPORTS have been told. Unfortunately the key element is always missing, "when" players will be paid.
