I have morphed into this guy who hates watching the games I have money on!

I like to follow the scoring updates on the computer through various sites or just go out and do things after betting my games. If I lose, I will always check the play by play boxscore to see what went wrong.

To me, it just makes it easier that way and is less stressful.....one of my locals told me a few years back that he doesnt watch the games. He said "you're either gonna end up on the right side or the wrong side of the number.....to me, it doesnt matter what they did or how they got there."

That has always stuck with me and everytime my other gambling friends ask, "dont you want to watch the game?" I use that line.

I always go out for MNF and I hate watching those damn games with loot riding on them....especially with my non gambling buddies who are cheering for guys b/c of fantasy football.

i totally disagree how a game is lost. if a team somehow loses while dominating a game theres value and vise versa. to me box score AND how the teams scored, ie special teams , defense scoring are critical. to me anyway.

an example was penn st/cincy. had penn st(-19) huge and they scored at will. defense dominated and was up by 32 with under 2 minutes left and cincy scored two tds with 2 two pt cons on a disinterested at the end penn st. the next week came right back with state-23 over cent mich and won by 37.

i try not to watch/follow online the tennis matches i bet on. takes up too much time and too stressful. so i try to just check the scores after matches have been completed. as for nascar, my wife doesn't like me spending 5/6 hours on a sunday watching a race, so i keep an eye on racecast and maybe turn on the last few laps. i do watch qualifying and happy hour though.
