SBG Global: Did RX seriously take these guys on?

There is a banner and link on the homepage for SBG Global.

When TheRX took on advertising for the BoS group, I shook my head in doubt. At that time, the $1/2 million stiffing they did was 4 or 5 years old.

SBG Global has ongoing stiff problems. They are rated a "D" by Sportsbookreview.com. This book stole $7000 from a sharp player in June, just 2 months ago! Per SBR, "Management tells SBR they "zeroed his account because he is not someone we wish to deal with" after beating the book to betting odds changes in hockey."

TheRX is treading dangerous ground, much worse than with BoS. If they take advertising from a group they know stiffs people, TheRX is aiding and abetting the actions of SBG Global, which is likely to include fraud and theft. What the hell are you thinking?

Back to BoS, I have been stiffed a little over 3k. When can I collect my insurance? Is your insurance for SBG just as comprehensive?

As soon as I saw it, I put up a post with at least 10 complaints in it. (Some current)

It was immediately deleted along with following posts and I was put on post review, so I threw the same post up across the way.

Since then I have been taken off post review it seems and about 100 other people have chimed in negatively about these guys.

who says you have to play at all the books at the top of this page? Do your own homework and play where you want to play. Honestly in 3+ years at this site I have given no thought to the banners that flash at the top of the site...if you happen to, well then you are just a stupid ass consumer....and if you make a big deal about a business decision that is generating revenue for the business, then you are more stupid than the above mentioned idiot consumer. too many people that want drama in their lives these days.

Sean:

You seem to be a fairly sharp guy, given that i would think the rx as well as other forums positions would be clear to you. There are only a certain amount of dollars to spend and seemingly the market may be diminishing as far as those willing to spend it. It seems clear the rx is fighting for survival in a tumultuous market, would you join a pay site? I cannot count the number of post you as well as others have made about spreading your bankroll around to limit exposure, understanding the pros and cons when dealing with different books and eliminating those youre not comfortable with. We as gamblers make decisions with our money, the rx should have that right as well, the bash is a great example of money the site will spend and not because they have to but because they choose to. I am in no way diminishing your thoughts concerning sbg global as i believe them to be true, but i know guys that have had a positive experience with them and would hope they are trying to improve the qaulity of their book. obtw i do not play at their site, this site is still a business with obligations to meet. SBG will help pay the bills and for this site and it's employees i feel they are grateful for the opportunity to have them as an advertising partner.

I'd pay for access to a similar site, the Green Chip model has worked well back to BJ21, through SSB (for a while) and Fezziks (til last year). Often better content with the green chip model than free sites.

i would as well, but most here wouldn't. the uninformed masses are the ones that need the information the most, agree?

this forum as well as others do that to the best of their ability, while still trying to maintain the bottom line.

Your post is somewhat accurate that people need to do their own homework.

However, all of us were once new here.

Many people that use this site maybe dont have time or know about the posting forums or how much valuable information is available via reading the various RX forums.

I used RX for at least a year prior to viewing and posting in the forums. During that time, I mainly used the live lines, read the rx information about various books, and did spend some time reading the main page articles.

Its inevitable that with a banner here SBG will be able to catch and rob a few unsuspecting fish. As Sam Odom posted, veteran posters, when robbed by SBG, knew better.

T-man, RX has bills to pay, but at what point must the line be drawn with accepting sponsors that knowingly rob players?

As i am unaware of the financial situation i couldn't venture a guess, i'm sure it's not an easy one to make. I would hope all that sign up with sbg with a link from the rx will be treated fairly and professionaly, i have made that decision to not join them. I would hope for some compassion for the mods here as it can't be easy when they seemingly get thrown under the bus quite often.

You will find lots of problems and complaints about SBG Global - both recent and in the past. I have never had an account with them, but it always seemed pretty clear to avoid them.
