I just caught the tail end of a radio talk show about legsilation in Las Vegas, that say it's against the law to feed homeless people in some public parks there. I didn't cactch all the details so not clear exactly what was said.

Anyway show was about the homeless problem in Las Vegas and the announcer went on to say that you could still give them a couple bucks and that believe it or not, THE 1.99 breakfast was STILL AVAILABLE in lots of places.
Man ---I'm PACKING soon!!!!!!!! I love that kind of deal if true!

There are SPECIALS every day!

From 3am-9am you can find AWESOME breakfast specials.

ARIZONA CHARLIE properties have some nice ones off the strip..........but basically almost all casinos have good ones.

A few times I have ordered like five 99 cent specials at one time and pigged out after a night of drinking and gambling.

I'll never forget illini getting hounded by one of these homeless dudes for money...he wouldn't give him money...he went to mcdonalds, bought a sandwich for the loser and the homeless guy took the sandwich and right after illini left, he threw the 99 cent double cheeseburger in the trash...mustve been a vegetarian.

I imagine the folks who are born and raised there find the whole thing boring unless they work in a casino/sportsbook. Even those probably do to at some point. I think table gaming gets old quickly, but Sports----Man--I live for this!!!

I can imagine that the homeless in Vegas is a REAL problem. But, all big cities have it to some extent maybe there worse?

Most casinos have great overnight specials..etc..0.99-1.99, usually midnight to 6am that I've seen. Have some real good ones around town.

Much worse as the climate is warm and never a shortage of tourists to panhandle to.

Trust me, it gets "old". Not to say we don't watch the games or go out to the books once in awhile, but its a hassle. If you don't live in Nevada, why don't you just go to a sports bar. Every decent size city has bars with Direct Ticket. Bet online. Save yourself the hassle of finding a seat and all sorts of other BS. Only time I go out to watch a game in a book is when: 1. Its a big Broncos game 2. The local channels aren't showing it. Otherwise I rarely feel compelled to go out and watch a game at a book.

The El Cortez used to have a breakfast coupon for .99 cents that included a .15 cent tip for the waitress. If you went into in the El Cortez and sat at the counter of coffee shop it was loaded with bums.

I cant imagine going on vacation and looking for a 1.99 breakfast? How can you play 5, 10 , 25 a hand 21 then bet a couple 100 on a game and be worried about a 2 dollar meal?

WTF

Maybe its me, But when im away from home i want the finer things in life.

Your mistake was Circus Circus, not the breakfast buffet.

Quite a sight though, families with hundreds of kids their plates piled high with fruit and bacon and sausage and eggs all mixed with sweet rolls. One wonders if they don't realise they can return for another course at a buffet. Then half the glop gets left anyway.
